Our client is a global leader in developing novel therapies across several therapeutic areas including Oncology. They are currently seeking experienced Biostatisticians to lead projects and studies while influencing study design and defending statistical approaches. These are visible roles where you will have the opportunity to develop your statistical skills in a scientifically-driven, collaborative environment while contributing to patient-driven therapies. You will provide statistical contributions, statistical review and quality control of protocols, randomization specifications, SAPs and TLGs. You will be encouraged to publish applied research in scientific journals and books, making presentations on statistical methodology at external scientific functions such as biopharmaceutical industry and academic meetings. You will be empowered to stay abreast of the latest developments and to contribute to scientific advances in the field. These roles can be remote anywhere in the US.
In addition, you will independently lead sophisticated studies and projects in a therapeutic area, ensuring that the statistical aspects of clinical activities meet required standards and are robust and valid. You will also influence strategy development while participating in multidisciplinary project teams.
MS or PhD in Biostatistics with 3+ years’ industry experience (level of position is commensurate with experience)
Life cycle drug development experience (pre-clinical, clinical or post-marketing)
Proven leadership and motivating multi-functional teams to advance complex projects to completion and thoughtfully negotiate and influence
Statistical leadership abilities
Strong working knowledge of theoretical and applied statistics and of regulatory guidelines
Experience working effectively in a globally dispersed team environment with cross-cultural partners
