Associate Manager, Analytics

The Associate Manager, Analytics & Strategy role is a key partner to commercial functions including Sales and Marketing. This position will leverage primary and secondary data sources to provide the commercial teams with detailed insights, reports, and recommendations. Core objective will be to synthesize information on prescription sales by geography, physician, and payer to deliver timely insights for operational decisions that maximize commercial potential. Areas of focus include sales performance analytics, sales reporting, and sales force operations for the pharmaceutical and digital therapeutic business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of analytics projects related to the Sales function

• Identify market-level opportunities for the brand, and work with Sales Leadership to develop strategies to execute against those opportunities

• Partner with Marketing to develop tailored messaging strategies for specific physician level opportunities

• Ownership of sales performance reporting and execution of ad hoc requests

• Assist in sales force coverage modeling and incentive compensation strategies

• Support new product launches by providing meaningful data to all vested parties

• Ensure clear analysis and interpretation of data to identify trends, diagnose issues and make strategic recommendations for sales effectiveness

• Continue to develop analytics expertise, broaden knowledge of analytical techniques, and stay abreast of new developments in the area to ensure that we are utilizing best in class methodologies to drive business results.

• Perform other duties as requested

Skill Requirements:

• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Python required

• Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and priorities

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as needs change

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent presentation skills

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative, business, or computer science related field

• Two – three years of business or data analytics experience required

• Experience in pharmaceutical analytics and reporting (IQVIA/IMS, Symphony, etc.), or relevant management consulting experience preferred
